Cheese Soda Bread

🥘 Ingredients

  • Greek yoghurt
    460 g
  • chives
    1 bunch
  • crème fraîche
    200 g
  • grated cheese
    300 g
  • onions
    2
  • salt
  • self-rising flour
    500 g

    Mix the self-rising flour with the Greek yoghurt and salt and knead for 2 min.

    Divide the dough into 4 pieces and roll into balls. Let this rest for 10 min under a tea towel.

    Gently flatten them and roll the edges in and place on a baking tray lined with baking paper.

    Cut the onions into fine half rings and finely chop the chives . Spread the crème fraîche over the bread and top generously with the onions.

    Mix the chives with the grated cheese and spread over the bread. Bake them for 18 minutes in an oven pre-heated to 180 degrees.
